PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin. This injectable treatment uses your body’s own platelets to promote healing, boost collagen, and improve skin quality. 

We start by drawing a small amount of blood. It’s processed in a centrifuge to separate out the PRF, which is then injected into specific areas of your face. Common zones include the tear troughs, cheeks, and smile lines.

The entire process takes about 45 minutes. After a consultation, we draw blood, prepare the PRF, and perform the injections. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure comfort.

Discomfort is minimal. You may feel a small pinch or pressure during injection. Any redness or swelling typically fades within a few days.

Because PRF is sourced from your own blood, the risk of adverse reactions is very low. Temporary swelling, bruising, or redness can occur but usually fades quickly.

Most patients benefit from a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart. During your consultation, we’ll recommend a plan based on your skin and goals.

You may notice a subtle glow and improvement in skin texture after your first session. Over time, PRF helps restore volume, smooth lines, and improve firmness, especially in areas like under the eyes or around the mouth.

Downtime is minimal. You can go back to your day shortly after treatment. Mild swelling or sensitivity may occur for a day or two.
